On the surface of the mountain that envelops the Temples of Humankind, are the Sacred Woods.  Here, some Damanhurians live in ornate houses built into the chestnut forest canopy.  And nearby, are vast  fields, both open and forested, of stone circuitry.  Carefully laid spirals, lines and shapes made of painted river stone act as energy conductors, as well as labyrinthine walkways for humans and horses.
